FFV vs. Non FFV OEM Parts
Many car manufacturers claim that they use special parts in the manufacturing of a flex fuel vehicle. So we took them to task with some research through a company called All Data.
All Data supplies part numbers to car dealers, repair shops as well as many online part stores such as NAPA and others. We have through their data base looked at various cars made as both flex fuel and non flex fuel same make ,same model, and same engine.
If what they say is true then the parts should be different and not found in any other make or model car on the market except for a flex fuel right?? This holds true for evaporation canisters, catalytic convertors, mufflers, o-ring kits as well as other key parts. There is usually one distinct difference, the gas caps are usually yellow, that must be their secret !!
So take a look at what we found. We have shown these same documents to the EPA in Washington DC as well as to C.A.R.B. in California as their engineers claim our technology will damage cars. if so why are the parts they claim we will damage, also found in the sister cars and vehicles that are non flex fuel?? you gotta ask right? Once they see this type of proof all they can say is that they will have to investigate as that was what they were told by the OEM's.
It was also sad when they passed a letter to us from the US Automotive Manufacturers Alliance signed by the likes of < Mercedes, Volvo, BMW, Ford, Chrysler, Chevrolet and a few others asking the EPA to not allow our technology into the US as " it would severely undermine the amount of money we have invested in Flex Fuel technology development" as stated in their letter to the EPA about our flex fuel conversion system.
So take a look at some of the cars and their primary parts and see for yourself that there is no real difference in parts that "might" be damaged by ethanol.
